The head of the Save our Sydenham committee is pleased with the future direction of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
SOS Chair Conrad Noel says even though the Wallaceburg hospital isn’t under threat of closure anymore, the committee’s work isn’t done.
“We’re always a watchdog as to what’s going on,” Noel says. “If we’re not satisfied or we feel that there should be issues brought forward, that’s what SOS will do and that’s what I intend to keep up doing.”
The committee, including former SDH Board members, will be meeting at the UAW Hall tonight, starting at 6 o’clock.
Noel says the main focus of tonight’s meeting will be to provide an update for those who weren’t able to attend last week’s CKHA Open House and discuss the Alliance’s plans for the Sydenham Campus.
