The Wallaceburg splash pad committee is another step closer to its goal.
Organizer Chris Young says this weekend’s trivia night fundraiser brought in over $8,000.
Next up, Young says the committee is taking a week off before beginning to plan their next fundraiser, which will likely be going door-to-door around Wallaceburg asking for donations.
After giving an update to municipal council, Young hopes to have shovels in the ground later this spring with a tentative completion date set for late July.
