Chatham-Kent Police are hoping the second time’s the charm with a local man accused in not one, but two thefts from area businesses. 
The suspect was arrested on Saturday in connection to a theft from a Blenheim store last month.
However, just two hours after being released, the man alleged stole another $50 worth of merchandize from a Chatham store.
The 21-year-old was re-arrested and charged with a second count each of theft and possession of stolen property.
