Over 100 people turned out to a special fundraiser in support of a Wallaceburg woman battling Cystic Fibrosis.
Mary Ann Holland says a fundraiser at K-9 Klips in Wallaceburg this past weekend to support Julie Rice as she awaits a double-lung transplant was a great success.
“We’ve put on different events for different fundraisers and we’ve never come close to anything like this,” reveals Holland. “We raised over $1,800 in one day”
Holland says they are planning several more fundraisers down the road to help Ross handle the cost of going back and forth to Toronto for treatment.
