A Wallaceburg man is facing charges after a violent confrontation with his girlfriend’s father. 
Chatham-Kent Police say the two got into an argument Saturday night when things turned physical.
The 29-year-old accused has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, while the father was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
