Describing Rondeau Provincial Park as anarchy over the weekend may be a stretch, but not by much. 
A park warden is nursing his wounds after being assaulted in the park this past weekend, a washroom was damaged to the tune of three grand.
At least two young men had to be taken to hospital – a 14-year-old for alcohol poisoning and a 19-year-old drug overdose victim.
All told, 114 campers on 19 sites had to be evicted over the weekend, and some even tried to sneak back in later.
Authorities say criminal acts will not be passed off as ‘kids being kids’ but as serious incidents that will be investigated and prosecuted.
Police say they’ll be back at the park for Victoria Day next year.
