Chatham-Kent Police are issuing a plea to the public to help nab a thief. 
Authorities say a customer at Loads of Love in Chatham set her cellphone down on the corner to tend to her grandchild, but moments later the phone was gone.
Another woman in the store was spotted on surveillance footage taking the phone.
Anyone with information is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers.
**Update: The accused has since turned herself in to police.
