The Wallaceburg BIA is pleased with how its first Farmers’ Market went on Saturday.
More than 1500 people and a dozen local farmers and businesses came out for the first of three markets planned for this summer.
Several vendors sold out within the first hour and some restocked for the afternoon.
Wallaceburg Councillor Jeff Wesley attended the ribbon cutting and said the community’s support is important for local events like these.
The next market is on July 15th.
