The St. Clair Catholic School Board is going to put more than $25-million to work to build two new schools in Chatham.
Director of Education Dan Parr says it’s proof the process works.
“To us it means the Ministry of Education OE has taken the case we built, taken the recommendation of the community, the hard work of the ARC and the research compiled by staff,” says Parr. “And it seems they’ve decided we have a very good case and have agreed to provide the funding for two new schools in Chatham.”
One will be built on the north side and one on the south, the schools will be open for September 2019.
