Careless driving charges have been laid after a Chatham man crashed his car near Thamesville.
Chatham-Kent Police say the accused was driving on McKays Line just east of Scane Road around 11pm last night when he lost control, struck a hydro pole, and careened into the ditch.
Authorities say the driver suffered minor injuries.
Damage is pegged at $5000.
