The Canadian Seed Trade Association is honouring a Chatham-Kent man.
Stephen Denys is being presented with the Seed Achievement Award, which recognizes significant contributions to the Canadian seed industry.
Denys has been involved in several CSTA strategic initiatives as well as advocating for the seed industry and modern agriculture as a whole.
Chatham-Kent’s Agriculture Specialist Kim Cooper says the award is well deserved.
“He’s been very involved in the seed end of things, and has been a great advocate of agriculture in general for the world really, but for Canada he’s been a great ambassador.”
Denys received the award at the CSTA’s 94th Annual General Meeting in Halifax this week.
