Charges have been laid against two Chatham men accused of going on a spending spree with a stolen bank card.
Chatham-Kent police say the accused smashed the window of a car back on May 22nd, stealing a wallet that included a BMO bank card with ‘tap’ capabilities.
The two then allegedly made their way to a couple of convenience stores, racking up about $140 in purchases.
Thanks to surveillance footage from both stores, police were able to identify the suspects.
The pair are facing a number of charges, including mischief, theft, and unauthorized use of credit card data.
