A Wallaceburg man is launching his debut novel this evening.
“Memories for Sale” is a collection of short stories, and author John Gardiner says publishing the book is a dream come true:
“It’s been a dream of mine my whole life, to put our a collection like this,” says Gardiner. “It’s a literary collection of 12 short stories, 12 poems and a short novel so it’s a collection of work and in some ways represents my life’s work.”
The illustrations in the book have a family connection – they were done by John’s daughter Rebecca Gardiner.
The book is being launched tonight at James Street Eatery at 7:30.
