Video surveillance has led Chatham-Kent Police to an accused thief.
A 24-year-old man was allegedly caught on tape, rummaging through employees’ personal belongings at a Blenheim business earlier this week before leaving with one employee’s bag.
Police were called when one of the staff noticed some items were missing.
After reviewing the surveillance footage, officers tracked down a suspect, taking the accused into custody last night.
He’s been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.
