In all, $5,500 was handed over to the hospice foundation thanks to the more than 200 people and 33 teams in attendance.

Over the last five years the Soccer Dogs donation totals come in at more than $40,000.

The tournament, organized by Rhys Dulisch, is in memory of his childhood friend, Tyson Santavy.

Chatham-Kent Hospice has assisted a total of 265 residents and families since April of 2016.

The average stay at the Chatham facility is two weeks, with a clinical care team and 200 volunteers helping people.
