Provincial Police are releasing more information in the wake of this morning’s four car pile up on Hwy. 40.
Police were called to the scene on the bend into Wallaceburg from Chatham around 9am.
According to police a vehicle stopped on the busy roadway with two vehicles stopping behind it. A fourth driver, apparently not paying attention, slammed into the back of the last stopped car, causing a chain reaction.
One driver suffered minor injuries.
A 58-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing careless driving charges.
