CKPS Welcomes Auxiliary Members

The Chatham-Kent Police Service is welcoming six new members to its auxiliary unit.

Members commit to at least a two-year term and working at least 16 hours each month.

The new members will help at community events like parades, and special events like crowd control.

The group was sworn in recently during a ceremony at the Civic Centre.

there are currently 22 auxiliary officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
