Hundreds of residents laced up their running shoes this weekend to support the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Development Officer Barb Noorenberghe says she’s thrilled with the turnout for yesterday’s Pumpkin Run.

“I think we had over 200 people,” Noorenberghe says. “I think people saw the nice weather and said let’s go to Rondeau and do a run.”

Last year’s event raised over $20,000 last year, and Noorenberghe says she’s confident they can match that with yesterday’s run.

All proceeds benefit the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.
