NDP Selects its Candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex

The NDP is gearing up for next spring’s provincial election.

Warwick Township Mayor Todd Case will be carrying the party’s flag in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.

He says his priorities are dealing with the overcrowding of small and rural hospitals, rising hydro bills, and education.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was Strathroy for last night’s nomination meeting, and says Case is focused on the priorities of families, and what comes next for jobs and local businesses in the rural south-west.

Case has held the mayor’s post in Warwick Township since 2001, and in 2014 was acclaimed the chair of the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus, a not-for-profit group representing 14 counties and Chatham-Kent.
