Crews were called out to Sykes Aggregates on 14th Line early Sunday morning, with fire fighters from four stations battling the flames and helping to prevent the blaze from spreading to other nearby buildings.

Firefighters also moved several trucks away from the burning building.

Officials say the fire was so extensive, the actual cause could not be determine.

Damage is pegged at $800,000, although officials say as much as $2-million in property was saved.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and Emergency Management have been notified of the blaze.

No one was hurt, and fire fighters rescued a dog from the burning building.
