Chatham-Kent’s old fire chief has officially been named the municipality’s new Fire Paramedic Chief.
Bob Crawford took over the role on an interim basis after former Chief Ken Steubing moved on earlier this fall.
Crawford, who was Chatham-Kent’s fire chief from 2001-2013, will also be stepping down from his current role of General Manager of Community Development, effective December 15th, and will officially take over the Fire Paramedic Chief position on January 15th.
At this point, no decisions have been made about the Community Development job.
