With a somewhat turbulent week ahead, weather wise, there’s the potential for more flooding along the Lake Erie Shoreline.
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued an advisory, calling for high winds over the next couple of days, which could bring strong waves and flooding tonight and through the day tomorrow.
The wind is expected to peek around 70 kilometres an hour tomorrow morning.
Conservationists say high winds come with the risk of damage to shoreline protection works and cause erosion in vulnerable areas.
However, once the direction switches more to the west into Wednesday morning, the on-shore impact should lessen.
