Chatham-Kent Health Alliance recruiting Board of Directors

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is starting to recruit applicants for its new board of directors.

Supervisor Rob Devitt says the process of receiving applications will take about a month.

“It can’t happen quickly. It takes time to let people be aware of the search, and give them time to think about it. [We need] time to receive applications, screen them do interviews, etc. Sourcing process for board members will run almost a month”, Devitt says.

Devitt says the search has already started.

“We’ve released the job posting to get as rich and great a pool of potential candidates so we can hopefully be in the position to interview people in late January or early February”, says Devitt.

Devitt says he plans on training the board and having it take full control by April 1st.

The single-tier system of governance was given the green light from the Erie St Clair LHIN earlier this week.
