The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has a brand new mammography machine to serve the roughly 9000 patients that come to the hospital for that service every year.
Jennifer Osmond, Mammography Technician says it’s a nice upgrade to the old device.
“our new machine is going to offer increased speed, reduced radiation and some better lighting to provide a better atmosphere, which is always welcome,” says Osmond. “We’d like thank the community for making it happen.”
The money was made available through the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.
