A Chatham car dealership is relaunching its brand – last night marked Volkswagen’s grand reopening on Keil Drive, and they had a very special guest on hand.
The company’s president and CEO, Daniel Weissland was in town for the festivities, and says he’s very impressed by the local dealership and their commitment to the community.
“I think what they really do good is they really take care of the customer,” Weissland says. “In smaller communities it’s so important but maybe a little bit easier, and it’s something they do extraordinarily well.”
Weissland says customer service is key, and the Chatham example is something some stores in larger areas could learn from.
Weissland says it’s an exciting time for the auto industry with billions of dollars being invested in electric cars.
