Charges have now been laid following a brutal dog attack that left a Wallaceburg boy hospitalized. 
Back on February 5th, two dogs attacked the toddler at Jaycee Park in Wallaceburg.
The dogs were seized by animal control and held in quarantine as the police investigation was carried out.
Manager of Animal Control Services, Jason Hamm says the dogs had previously attacked two other dogs.
On March 16th their owner surrendered them to PAW Rescue, and both have since been put down.
Meantime, the owner, a 35-year-old Wallaceburg woman, has now been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and will be in court on May 4th.
