A special open house is being held next month as staff and students prepare to leave John N Given Public School.
The elementary school is slated to close at the end of the year, with English language students being amalgamated with Tecumseh Public School in the fall, and those in the French Immersion program going to McNaughton Ave Public School.
A Farewell Open House will be held May 5th to honour the school’s 63 year legacy.
A number of events are planned, including a selfie station, memorabilia tables, and guided tours.
