Chatham-Kent Police say a Chatham woman initially charged with assault has now been released unconditionally.
The 35-year-old was arrested early Thursday morning following a violent confrontation with another woman.
A 24-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, and police say a knife and bat were seized from the home.
As the investigation continues, police are asking anyone who might have information to give them a call.
