What started as a case of road rage has landed four people with charges.

A concerned citizen called police late last week about a case of road rage on Sheldon Avenue.

Authorities say as it turns out, the vehicle in question had been reported stolen.

The vehicle’s occupants were found at a nearby home and arrested, and both the home and vehicle searched.

Since then, officers have been able to identify more than 20 items that had been stolen from vehicles in Chatham and Sarnia, including wallets, purses, credit cards, and ID.

Yesterday, two boys aged 16 and 17, an 18 year old girl, and 22 year old man were charged with 20 counts of being in possession of property obtained by a crime.
