The safe boating message for this first long weekend of the Summer hit home for three men pulled from the water after their boat capsized Friday.
Coast Guard officials tell us the trio were plucked from the waters of Light House Cove on Lake St. Clair. Only two of the three men in the water had on life jackets.
All three were rushed to a nearby dock and treated for hypothermia. Fortunately the Canadian coast Guard Inshore Boat Station had just opened in time for the long weekend.
