One thousand kilometres is a long way to go, especially by bicycle, but that’s what two dedicated people are doing to support the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance DI campaign. 
Dave Depencier and Dan Van Moorsel embark on their 1000 km loop across southwestern Ontario this morning from the CKHA Sydenham Campus.
The plan is to be back in Chatham on Monday.
The goal is to give the $6.9-million Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign the final push it needs.
It’s a cause near and dear to Depencier as an emergency CT scan saved his life last year.
