Chatham-Kent Police continue to investigate after a pedestrian was struck in Chatham.
Police say a 63-year-old woman was hit while walking on the sidewalk along McNaughton Avenue near St Clair Street around 8 yesterday morning.
The victim was rushed to hospital in Chatham before being transferred to London for treatment of serious injuries.
Authorities say the driver, a 79-year-old Chatham man, wasn’t hurt.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to call police.
