A summertime BBQ is planned today in support of the Wallaceburg splash pad.
The lunchtime affair is being held at the Southwest Regional Credit Union.
The burgers hit the grill at 11am and it runs until 2pm, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the splash pad committee.
Organizers are hoping to raise the remaining $2000 needed to pay off last summer’s installation.
Today also marks the official opening of the splash pad for the season.
