Chatham-Kent Habitat For Humanity will hold a special celebration on Monday to commemorate the building of their 5th house in the community.
Three long standing volunteers along with many others who have participated in the builds over the years will be recognized.
The local chapter was formed in 2009. The nonprofit organization has a goal of working towards a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to call home. Monday’s event gets underway at 6:30 pm at Sacwal flooring on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
