More details are being released after a large pile of straw bales caught fire north of Chatham last night.
As many as 150 bales caught fire on Eberts Line, just west of Prince Albert shortly before 7 o’clock.
Fire fighters remained at the scene overnight and through the morning dousing the flames and monitoring the situation, but say there’s no risk to people or property nearby.
No dollar figure has been attached to the loss at this point, and it’s still not clear what started the fire in the first place.
