A short-lived high-speed chase has landed one man with racing charges. 
Essex County OPP say they clocked a vehicle going over 190 kilometres an hour on the 401 Saturday afternoon.
Officers say the vehicle whipped past the unmarked vehicle, but when then stopped after the officer caught up.
The 22-year-old driver from Toronto will appear in court in Windsor this fall.
