The 25 year old Wallaceburg woman facing a first degree murder charge will appear via video at a pre-trial hearing next week in Chatham.
There have been several stops and starts in the process but lawyers for Kourtney Audette and the crown will appear for talks outside of the court room next Wednesday.
Then Friday, the 31st, they will hold the pre-trial, at which time the matter will be spoken to. Again it will be a video appearance.
Audette was charged after the body of 24 year old Nick Laprise was found in a Book Street home April 18th.
There is a publication ban on evidence.
