The Chatham-Kent police traffic unit continues to investigate after a single vehicle accident just outside the entrance to the site for the International Plowing Match on Thursday morning.
Police say a 27-year-old Chatham man was initially taken to hospital in Chatham, but later transported to London with serious injuries.
Authorities say the lone driver was traveling west bound on Pain Court Line when he lost control, coming to rest in a ditch.
