There won’t be much work done on Labour Day.
All Municipal officers are closed and most services are cancelled.
The one major exception is the beach Bus.
While all CK transit services are cancelled for the day Labour Day marks the last run of the S1.
This is the seasonal route to Mitchell’s bay and Erieau.
The service ends on Monday and will pick up again next May.
Garbage collection is on hold across the municipality, and will be delayed by a day this week.
The obvious exception is emergency services as Police, Fire and Ambulance service is operational 24/7, 365 days a year.
