Weapons charges have been laid against a Tilbury man after he allegedly pulled a knife on police.
Officers were called to Tilbury Street yesterday afternoon about a suspicious person.
However, when they began talking to the suspect, police say he pulled out a pocket knife.
After a struggle, the accused eventually dropped the knife and was taken into custody.
He’ll be in court later this month, facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and resisting a peace officer.
