A Windsor-based company with clients in Chatham-Kent has abruptly shut its doors.
A note on the Tecumseh Road office of Certified Windows blames the province’s scrapped GreenON rebate program, saying they didn’t provide a reasonable amount of time to satisfy customer contracts.
Officials with the Better Business Bureau say they’ve been fielding a higher than normal volume of complaints about the company, including non-delivery of ordered products and a lack of communication about installation dates and refunds.
Attempts by the CKXS Newsroom to call the company were met by an automated message saying the voicemail was full.
