Drunk driving charges have been laid against a Chatham man.
Chatham-Kent OPP say the 43-year-old tried to avoid being stopped at a RIDE check on St Clair Road early Saturday afternoon.
Officers caught up with the vehicle and believed the man behind the wheel had been drinking.
He was arrested and taken to the detachment for tests.
