It took a while but Chatham-Kent Police finally got their man.
A 51 year old Chatham man was arrested last night and charged with contempt of court.
The man’s arrest came over 4 years after the original warrant was issued.
That happened back in august of 2014, but the man was able to avoid the long arm of the law until they spotted him walking along Byng Avenue in Chatham last night.
He wasn’t in custody that long before he was released with conditions and a future court date.
