The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority is warning of the potential for shoreline damage and flooding from wave spray today and tomorrow.

With wind gusts expected to reach 60 kilometres an hour, winds will be driving waves onshore along the entire Lake Erie shoreline in Chatham-Kent and Elgin County.

Residents are urged to use extra caution and avoid the area entirely if conditions get too rough.
