The red kettles have been packed away for another year, but the Salvation Army is still looking for some help.
Captain Karen Holland says that while final numbers won’t be known until later next week, the kettle campaign is still about $9,000 short of its goal.
However, she says that is still $1,300 more than was donated in 2017.
Mail-in donations are down significantly, by more than $70,000.
Holland says donations are still being accepted until December 31st to help reach this year’s $500,000 goal.
