A challenge has been issued to area high school students by the municipalities Economic Development and small Business Centre.

They are challenging the students in grades 9 through 12 to come up with a 2 minute video that will showcase their business idea.

They can then enter the video in a contest with a variety of prizes on the line including the top prize of $3000 dollars to help finance their idea.

It’s called the Young Entrepreneurs Make Your Pitch Competition.

It’s a government sponsored competition to help identify where the next line of business leaders will come from.

Deadline for video entries is March 22, 2019.
