This coming Wednesday you’ll be able to sit down with a Chatham-Kent police officer over a cup of Joe in Chatham.
It’s the first ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event.
Constable Renee Cowell says the chief will be there, as will traffic unit, mobile crisis team and courts. ” We want to interact with people outside of a crisis situation which is usually what brings us together. this will be a great opportunity to talk with your local police officers, share your concerns, and ask questions. The more we can communicate with each other the stronger our community will be”.
The first of what’s expected to be many events takes place from 8-10 am at the McDonalds on St. Clair in Chatham.
