The investigation continues into a serious crash near Tilbury.
Around noon yesterday, an eastbound car collided with the back of a transport truck on the 401 between County Road 42 and Queens Line.
The driver of the car was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The transport driver wasn’t hurt.
The eastbound lanes were closed for over six hours as a result.
