Thamesville area firefighters were called out to an address on Longwoods Road Friday afternoon to battle a blaze in a detached garage.
Two cars were fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.
They say the owner couldn’t start one of the cars in the cold and plugged it in to charge.
No injuries but about 80.000 in damage.
And a fire at a home in Blenheim caused 20.000 dollars in damage.
The homeowner tried to thaw out the pipes by using a portable heater and a heat gun.
The fire was contained in the wall.
