Two people are facing charges after police received a shoplifting complaint at Walmart in Chatham.
Police say last night, a man left the store with a 65” television and made no attempt to pay for it. There was a woman waiting for him in a vehicle outside in the parking lot.
Officers say someone gave them their physical descriptions and license plate number.
Police were able to track them down and stopped them at the intersection of Charing Cross Road and Middle Line.
A 35-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman are facing theft charges.
